Randall George focuses his practice in the areas of taxation, corporate and general business law, nonprofit entities and estate planning. Mr. George holds an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, its highest peer rating. He was admitted to the bar in California in 1978.
Mr. George represents business, individual and nonprofit clients in a wide range of transactional and tax matters. He has often served as the lead or sole attorney in structuring and negotiating acquisitions, divestitures and mergers of small and mid-size companies. He assists clients with planning, forming and managing their business entities, contract negotiation and drafting, and problem solving in income, property, business license, employment and estate tax matters. His clients include multi-generational family owned businesses and he assists them with the succession planning, wealth transfer and management challenges that face these entities. A substantial part of his practice is devoted to working with independent schools and other nonprofit institutions.
A Deputy District Attorney for Ventura County, 1978-1980, he is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and American Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
